Brooke loved meeting all of the athletes. Especially the gymnasts and cheerleaders.

We partner with a couple who is involved with Athletes in Action, which is a program connected to CRU (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). They minister to student athletes sharing the gospel and leading them in bible study and working to develop Christian leaders on every sports team. They have been at Ohio State ministering to the athletes there. When they asked us if we wanted to host a Christmas party for the athletes we immediately said yes. All we had to do was open up our house and they did the rest. We had a great time visiting with athletes from Ohio State and Ohio Dominican. These young men and women are quite impressive. The male athletes had escorted the female athletes to our house and then Matt had gone with Jamie and the men to a restaurant down the road. Kinzi and her ladies did a great job of leading the ladies through some fellowship and sharing. Then, the men came back and snuck up our front stairs to serenade the ladies with Christmas Carols. The girls were very surprised and loved it! It was a very fun evening and we loved having our house filled with all of these students. I think there were about 75 in all!
